| Dr. David Habbel is an Associate Professor of Communication Arts at Utica
College. He earned his Masters and Ph.D. degrees from the University of
Buffalo. His areas of expertise include Interpersonal, Intercultural, Political
and Organizational Communication. He has served as Chair of the Curriculum
Committee at UC and as Chair of the Syracuse University Senate Committee
for Diversity. Dr. Habbel has served as a political analyst for the local media, and as political strategist for the Miller (2004) and Arcuri (2006) Congressional campaigns. He was a member of the CARE committee which implemented an EPA grant under the auspices of the Oneida County Health Department to assess environmental health risks in Oneida County. Dr. Habbel has been a Board member of Leadership Mohawk Valley since 2001, He also designed and directs the leadership development module for the LMV program. |
